Arepas con Dak-galbi

Ingredients (8 pieces)


Arepas

  • pre-cooked corn meal (I used P.A.N yellow corn meal product)

  • salt


Dak-galbi

  • chicken thigh

  • onion powder

  • minced garlic (replaceable with garlic powder)

  • soy sauce

  • sugar

  • gochugaru

  • gochujang

  • oyster sauce (optional)


etc

  • perilla leaves (optional but recommend)

  • mozzarella cheese

 

How to make


Arepas (8 pieces)

  1. Pour 550g warm water (4~50'c) into a bowl

  2. Put 1t salt and mix

  3. Put 300g pre-cooked corn meal into a bowl and mix until mixed well

  4. Rest for 10 minute

  5. Divide dough for 8 pieces

  6. Make it round shape and little bit press flatly

  7. Put oil in pan and turn it on medium heat

  8. Put dough and cook until it's golden brown

  9. Put it 170'C oven for 10 minutes


Dak-Galbi

  1. Put 4T soy sauce, 6T sugar, 4T gochugaru, 2T gochujang, 1T oyster sauce(optional), 2T minced garlic (replaceable with 2T garlic powder), 2T onion powder into a bowl and mix

  2. Put 2 pieces chicken thigh (5~600g) into a bowl and mix

  3. Marinate for 1 hour in room temperature (if you don't have time, you can skip this)

  4. Put it in 170'c oven for 25 minutes

  5. After 25 minutes, rip it in small size


Arepas con Dak-galbi

  1. Cut Arepas in half like burger bun

  2. Put cheese, dak-galbi and perilla leaves on arepas

when I first bite, it was shock.

so delicious, amazing

but when the food gets cold

the food taste less delicious
