Gimbap is a kind of common fast food in Korea. We look for gimbap when we have to eat a meal quickly and easily. I really like gimbap and someday I thought what if I make it big like burrito? As a result, I made a gimbap burrito.
Gimbap
Ingredients (1 serving)
3 gimbap seaweed
300g cooked rice
canned tuna
mayonnaise
Carrots
cucumber
perilla leaves (replaceable with lettuce)
pepper
sugar
onion
sesame oil
ssamjang
lemon juice
egg
How to make
Gimbap Burrito
Drain oil from the canned tuna
Mix 200g tuna, 5T mayo, 2T sugar, pepper, chopped 1/2 onion, 1t lemon juice to make 'tuna mayo'
Cut 1/2 carrot, 1 cucumber thinly
Stir-fry carrots in grease pan over medium heat for 3~4 minutes
During stir-fry, sprinkle 1t salt on carrots
Put 300g rice in bowl and put 1t salt, 1T sesame oil and mix
Mash rice to connect 3 seaweed to each other
Put rice over seaweed and spread it out as much as 2/3 of the seaweed
Put 4 perilla leaves first and put another ingredients(tuna mayo, carrot, cucumber, gyeran mari) over perilla leaves
Roll tight and brush water to the ends to make the seaweed stick well
Mix 1T ssamjang, 2T mayo, 1t lemon juice to make 'ssamjang sauce'
Simple Gyeran mari (Rolled omelette)
Crack the 4 egg in bowl and mix with 1t salt
Put 1t oil in pan and turn on low heat
Pour the egg very thinly in pan
After about 20 seconds, when the eggs are little bit cooked, roll them squarely using spatula or chopsticks
Pour the egg very thinly in pan and cook and roll until the thickness you want comes out (I repeated 3 time)
Score : 8/10
Taste is just like 'Tuna mayo gimbap'
But I think food is not all about taste.
It feels like eating burrito, but taste is gimbap
That process is amazing and satisfying :D
It looks excellent. 😋👌
