In Korea, There are many various fried chicken. Among these, yang-nyeom fried chicken is always on top 3 of K.F.C. It's seasoned by gochujang based sauce. It's so good. I love this, So I mixed it with sandwich with coleslaw
Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich
T = Tablespoon

Ingredients (for 4 serving)
Coleslaw
1/4 cabbage
1/4 onion
1/4 carrot (for color, optional)
mayo
white vinegar
sugar
pepper
Korean Fried Chicken
2 chicken thigh (600g)
300g butter mlik (If it's hard to get, mix 300ml of milk and 1T of white vinegar)
pickle juice (optional)
all purpose flour
corn starch (replaceable with potato starch)
salt
baking powder
pepper
paprika powder (optional)
onion powder (optional)
garlic powder (optional)
gochujang
ketchup
sugar
corn syrup
minced garlic

How to make
Coleslaw
Slice 1/4 onion, 1/4 onion and 1/4 carrot thinly
Mix these vegetables with 100g mayonnaise, 1T white vinegar, 1T sugar, and pepper
Korean Fried Chicken
Add 2T of pickle juice to 300g butter milk and mix
Put chicken thigh in buttermilk and marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours
Mix 100g all purpose flour, 100g corn starch, 1T salt, 1T baking powder, pepper, 1T paprika powder, 1T garlic powder, and 1T onion powder to make fried chicken powder
Coat chicken thigh with fried chicken powder
Fry in 170'C(350'F) oil for 6 minutes
Mix 100g gochujang, 100g ketchup, 1T minced garlic, 75g corn syrup, 50g sugar and 70g water and put it to microwave for 1 minute (yang-nyeom chicken sauce)
Pour yang-nyeom chicken sauce into the fried chicken
Mix 1T yang-nyeom chicken sauce and 1T mayonnaise, then spread on the burger buns
Stack it : burger buns -> coleslaw -> yang-nyeom fried chicken -> burger buns
Tip
It's delicious just to eat yang-nyeom chicken
