There is many taste food in South Korea. If someone ask me which is your recommendation of Korean food. There is a lot of food came up my head. But This galbi jjim is always comes to mind first
Pork Galbi Jjim (Korean braised short ribs)
T = Tablespoon
t = teaspoon
Ingredients
Ingredients (3 serving)
1kg pork back ribs
1 potato
1/2 carrot
1 onion
1 green onion
soy sauce
dark soy sauce (for color, optional)
sugar
corn syrup
minced garlic
minced ginger (replaceable with powdered ginger, optional)
oyster sauce(optional but recommended)
sesame oil
pepper
How to make
Pork Galbi Jjim
Boil back ribs in boiling water for 10 minutes
Put 1/2 cup soy sauce (100g), 4T sugar, 2T corn syrup, 2T minced garlic, 1T minced ginger, 1/2 onions, 2T oyster sauce, 1T dark soy sauce, 2T sesame oil, pepper and grind to make the sauce
Cut potatoes and carrots into 3cm cubes
Put back ribs, potatoes, and carrots to the pot
Put 2/3 of the sauce and 2 cups of water to the pot
Boil on low~medium heat for 45 minutes
Taste the sauce and add the remaining sauce to your taste
Add onion and green onion and boil for 5 minutes
Tips
you can add 'Ramen noodles, udon, rice cake, sausage, etc' when you put onion and green onion
Score : 9/10
I've never seen anyone who doesn't like it.
If you have all ingredients, it's really easy to make.
